Mobile Marketing Association Strengthens 2011 Asia Pacific Board of Directors
 
Blyk, Euro RSCG, Google, InMobi, Maxis Mobile Services executives join regional steering team
 
Singapore, April 26, 2011 — The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) (www.mmaglobal.com) today announced key additions to its 2011 Asia Pacific Board of Directors. The new appointees comprise leaders and innovators in mobile marketing from MMA member companies Blyk, Euro RSCG, Google, InMobi and Maxis Mobile Services Sdn Bhd.
 
“Mobile is by the far one of the most dynamic media currently available and there is no limit to the innovation that can be brought to consumers through their devices. Our new appointees will bring their immense experience in their industries to further bolster the efforts of MMA in the region. I’m certain the 2011 Board will now be even better equipped to make a real measurable impact through the year and into 2012,” said Rohit Dadwal, Managing Director, Mobile Marketing Association Asia Pacific Limited.

We have a lot of work to do. The MMA Asia Pacific board members work together with the MMA Global Board to oversee and guide the Association and its industry initiatives. MMA’s regional agenda includes educating brands, agencies and consumers on the potential of mobile marketing; developing measurement, metrics and insight into the size, growth, trends and effectiveness of mobile marketing; developing industry guidelines, best practices and standards; and helping build bridges between regulators and industry members.
