MMA EMEA announces its 2020 Smarties Awards shortlist

It’s business as usual as entries pour in, including for the Business Unusual category that honours campaigns that ran as a result of the pandemic

 

London – November 19th - In these difficult and uncertain times, it is with enormous pleasure that the MMA EMEA can announce the shortlist for our 2020 MMA EMEA Smarties Awards. With the highest ever number of submissions it has been a hugely competitive yet rewarding process as our screening council of marketers, agencies and technology enablers have reviewed and evaluated each entry. We now move to our virtual jury session using this shortlist to determine who’ll take home the coveted gold, silver and bronzes for this year. 

2020 sees the introduction of a new category – Business Unusual reacting to the times that we are in and giving us all a further opportunity to reward and honour the hard work, creativity and business impact derived from campaigns that have focused upon and run during the pandemic.

The shortlist and the final selected winners will be honoured this year at the Smarties EMEA Virtual Awards Celebration of Talent on Tuesday, December 9th alongside the awarding of our country winners in Turkey, South Africa and Spain. Over the course of the evening, we’ll announce and celebrate this year’s winners across 21 categories.
