Sudipto Roy
Managing Director of Mindshare, Media & Data
Team Unilever AAR

My experience is built on my years of work across various media agencies and handling some of the largest and most complex multinational clients. I currently work across our multinational clients (Unilever, Ford, BP-Castrol, Kimberley Clarke, Lenovo, Kellog's etc) for Mindshare across APAC. I also chair a council which is responsible for transforming our products and services. A key role for this group is to also identify new age partnerships across the industry and within WPP to transform how we work and build new age products and innovation.

In earlier roles, as Managing Partner, Client Leadership, I have led a large cluster of multi-national clients across Mindshare Asia Pacific and led Unilever- Mindshare's biggest client- across Asia and Africa.

Crafting the "media product" for clients has been a huge passion for me. It has been a very interesting journey migrating clients from a broadcast media focussed thinking to a much richer consumer focussed thinking. Evangelising new-age communications planning, digital practices and branded content have given me as much satisfaction as forging new age partnerships and collaborations in the rapidly evolving marketing services eco-system.

I have been fortunate to work with some brilliant individuals to translate this internal drive into a new way of driving partnerships across content, broadcast and digital services. This has resulted in a step-change in the creativity and richness of our communications solutions.

Over the last few years, I have led my teams to win more than 100 awards for Mindshare across local, regional and global awards.

Another area of interest for me, both personally and professionally, has been the leadership development of our account management community in APAC and Russia. It has been an incredibly satisfying experience creating and running a development journey for people at the forefront of change and challenges in our industry.
