Simon Dean has been the Head of Media Services at Telefònica Germany since arriving in Munich in 2011. In this role he has helped establish the company as the leading provider of mobile marketing in Germany, providing a single point of contact for brands and businesses to connect to Germany’s largest mobile audience. Before moving to Germany, Simon was responsible for creating the O2 Media business in the U.K., where he also launched the O2 More and Priority Moments offers. Simon’s expertise in growing new business opportunities in the media and content space is built on his experience in product development in Asia Pacific and London, launching Internet and content services such as Singapore’s first residential Internet-free surf product.
