Sandeep Goel is an outcome oriented professional with 22 years of experience in business/IT consulting, marketing strategy and execution, analytics, program management and Center of Excellence (CoE) establishment. Sandeep leads Enterprise Client Segment, Services and Cognitive Solutions Marketing for IBM India/South Asia – a role which is perfect intersection of marketing, technology and leadership across online and offline channels. He is responsible for aligning marketing strategy and execution in line with market priorities, and help drive consistent sustainable profitable growth for IBM in the region.In his previous role (2013-16), Sandeep led Global Marketing Analytics discipline at IBM, transforming a team of 125+ data reporters to data modeler and data scientists. The insights from business and marketing pipeline data through deep predictive analytics, helped improving the marketing performance and its contribution to IBM business. Prior to this position, in the period since 2010, he led marketing strategy and operations function for IBM India/South Asia. Sandeep had joined IBM Consulting in 2007, with Strategy and Change practice of IBM Global Business Services and managed numerous business consulting engagements. Before IBM, he worked with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for 9+ years in various capacities while working on multiple software and Business/IT engagements across multiple geographies. An engineer and business management graduate by education, Sandeep likes traveling, loves reading spiritual books and spending time in community services (alumnus of IBM prestigious programs – Corporate Service Corps assignment to Mexico in 2012, Smarter Cities Challenge assignment to Australia in 2016).
