MMA Partners with Econsultancy’s JUMP Event to Promote Joined Up Marketing (August 2010)

August 16, 2010

*Mobile to Form Integral Part of Conference for Marketing Professionals*

New York, London, UK, Singapore & Sao Paulo: August 16, 2010 — The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) (www.mmaglobal.com) today announced that it has become an official partner of Econsultancy’s JUMP event. Taking place at Old Billingsgate in London on 13th October, the event is designed to help make joined up marketing across all mediums a reality, and drive better return on marketing investment across the industry. MMA participation will underline how mobile can connect multi-channel campaigns and add interactivity to on and offline mediums.  MMA members will also benefit from free entry to the event.

Playing host to around 60 expert speakers and more than 1,000 senior marketing practitioners from across different marketing disciplines, including mobile, direct mail, social media, advertising, and PR, JUMP will discuss how an integrated approach to marketing can deliver better results for organizations. The conference will discuss a range of issues, from strategy and implementation to measurement and best practice, as well as featuring practical examples of the best multi-discipline campaigns and strategies to provide marketers with a greater inspiration and insight into how joined up marketing can drive better campaign effectiveness.

“JUMP’s focus on marketers and the ways in which they can drive the industry forward is a great fit with the MMA’s own priorities. Mobile is now an integral part of the marketing mix and the growing momentum for its use is only likely to continue. We are therefore happy to share our specialist knowledge to educate and inspire marketers from all disciplines,” said Paul Berney, CMO and managing director of the MMA in EMEA.

JUMP is hosted by Econsultancy (http://econsultancy.com) , an online publisher of independent advice and research on digital marketing with 90,000 members.

“Having the MMA on board adds further credibility to the JUMP event. The broad support of respected membership associations from across the marketing industry means we will be able to truly debate how joined up marketing can make a difference to the organisations we all provide services to,” said Ashley Friedlein, CEO of Econsultancy.
