Awards were presented across 24 categories during the SMARTIES DACH Awards Gala in Berlin.

The winners of the new "AI Marketing" category were Telekom Deutschland and Mindshare with the campaign EURO 2024 AI Goal Alert: Instant Updates for Fans! and Deutsche Telekom and Mindshare with #ShareWithCare – A message from Ella campaign.

BERLIN, December 5, 2024 – The German chapter of MMA Global (MMA Germany) announced the winners of this year’s SMARTIES DACH & EUROPE Awards last evening during the “SMARTIES DACH Awards Gala.” The awards recognized outstanding marketing campaigns that drive economic success in the DACH region.

Under the leadership of Daniel Jäger, Global Head of Media at Deutsche Telekom, the prestigious MMA Germany jury awarded a total of 37 prizes across19categories this year. All winning campaigns will be featured in the 2024 WARC Media Rankings and acknowledged by the Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry (RECMA).

Highlights of the DACH competition in 2024 included:

• Best In Show Award Winner, Long Covid Mode and Mediaplus Germany
• Creative Agency of the year, Serviceplan Group
• Advertiser of the year, Deutsche Telekom
• Brand of the year, Cupra Deutschland
• Holding Agency of the year, WPP Germany

From the DACH region, Mediaplus Germany also received SMARTIES Europe Media Agency of the year award.

“This year, our jury once again faced a tough challenge selecting the winners from among so many top-notch campaigns. The number of entries was high, and the overall quality was consistently excellent. This reflects how strong the DACH region truly is in the field of digital marketing,” said Elvin Altun Noyan, Country Director of MMA Germany.

“The ‘SMARTIES DACH Awards’ are increasingly becoming a barometer for trends in digital marketing,” stated Daniel Jäger, Chair of the Jury. “I was deeply impressed by the number of exciting and innovative campaigns implemented in the DACH market this year, which have significantly contributed to the region's economic success.”
