Shireesh Joshi, has been in charge of brands ranging from a few million dollars to several billion dollars in revenues covering all kinds of market positions - leaders, challengers or late entrants. He has worked in emerging and developed markets, and led businesses across life cycle stages from well before launch to those in advanced state of maturity with P&L responsibility.
In roles with Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Airtel and Godrej, he has managed multiple brands, geographies and market positions simultaneously and is well versed with digital transformation, portfolio management and dealing with strategic complexity. He has worked on businesses across India, China and South Asia, working with various cultures and languages and has 28 years of experience delivering successful results with organisations and teams of varying capability and scale. He has created pioneering work in organizations he has worked for winning international awards for successful insights, innovation, strategy and design.
An industry and function leader, he often speaks at industry conferences, serves on various marketing award juries and advises many startups.
He holds an MBA in Marketing from IIM Bangalore and a B.Tech in Electronics from IIT Kanpur.
Along with his wife and two children, Shireesh loves to travel and enjoys offbeat experiences. During free time he loves to read fiction or interesting insights on the world we live in. Avid photographer, movie buff and amateur musician Shireesh is also a member of band that plays live concerts every year.
