Sapna Chadha is the Vice President of Marketing for India and Southeast Asia at Google where she defines the marketing strategy across Google’s consumer and commercial businesses. She is focused on driving Google’s mission in putting forward the most helpful products and services for users, with the goal of accelerating the company’s business objectives in the Asia Pacific region. Sapna joined Google in 2014 and led India’s SMB Marketing team before becoming Country Marketing Director. She moved to Singapore in 2017 when her role expanded to include SEA. Prior to Google, Sapna spent a decade at American Express working across Marketing, Product and Operations roles in India and New York. She was previously a technology consultant at Deloitte.
A strong advocate and thought leader for Inclusive Marketing and the need to promote greater representation of our users across Google’s products and creative work, Sapna is a member of the Google APAC’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. She further pioneered the ongoing Internet Saathi programme in India to help bridge the gender divide online by training 30M+ women across 300+ rural villages on digital and is recognised by CampaignAsia as one of Asia Pacific's Most Influential and Purposeful Marketers.
