Pham Anh Chien is currently serving as Managing Director of Vietnam Television Digital Center (VTV Digital Center) – a member of the state agency Vietnam Television (VTV) to bring TV contents on a new Internet and mobile platform with a flagship OTT product VTVGo as well as to prepare digital strategy for VTV in the digital age. Prior to this time, he spent 10 years studying and doing research in Russia. During this period, he got a PhD diploma on Computer networking and telecommunications in The Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI). Before joining VTV, Pham Anh Chien spent more than 15 years in the field of Internet and telecommunication business at C-level in leading ICT companies such as Vietnam Datacommunication Company (VDC/VNPT) as Chief System Integration & Development, CMC Telecom (CEO), Indochina Telecom (Deputy CEO), Medianet Corp (Chairman). He has been awarded the 1st Vietnam ICT Golden Globe Prize in 2002. Mr Pham Anh Chien is currently a Vice President of The Vietnam Internet Association (VIA).
