Nitin is leading the global digital & technology transformation of KFC’s ~$30 B portfolio across 150 markets. Nitin co-leads traditional technology functions such as product management and engineering, Data science & analytics and digital functions such as e-commerce, partnerships & digital marketing.

Prior to Yum, Nitin was a GM & Operations Head (@Google), an Associate Partner (@McKinsey) and Product Architect (@I2 Technologies, now Blue Yonder). Details below.

  1. Google: Director/GM, Chrome OS, US – Led the US business and operations for Google’s Chrome operating system. Guided the business through hyper-growth (doubled market share). Managed 500+ operations team responsible for strategy, partnerships (with retailers, OEMs and SoCs), field sales and operations.
  2. Google: Head of global hardware channel sales and operations: Managed global retail sales and operations (4 regions, 21 countries) for all Google made hardware categories (including Google Phones, Google Home, Google Accessories). Managed ~1000 member team, responsible for merchandising, selling, field operations and training at retail partner stores.
  3. McKinsey and Company: Associate Partner: Led or contributed to 40+ client engagements on corporate strategy and operations transformations including business growth, new business models, multi-channel, supply chain, store operations and partnerships. Published 2 industry whitepapers - “Retail economics in the era of one day delivery’ & ‘Managing the inventory tail’.
  4. I2 Technologies (acquired by JDA): Solution Architect: Led design and implementation of supply chain software solutions at various Fortune 500 clients. Launched one of the earliest online private marketplaces in the technology industry and designed i2’s first-ever demand forecasting solution for the oil industry.
