Mellisa has extensive leadership experience in corporations, agency, a not-for-profit, start-ups, small-to-medium enterprises, and consulting. In late 2015 Mellisa established Lantian Consulting, providing executive management, chief marketing officer and business advisory service for business, marketing, communications, digital and brand growth with Asia capabilities, a global perspective, and international experience. The prior seven-years in Asia on global, regional and country level roles for Shangri-la International Hotel Management, the Cathay Pacific Airways agency business, agency in China for Tourism Australia, PepsiCo and Johnson & Johnson brand portfolios and a start-up media company in China producing brand content solutions for multi-national brands across television, digital and mobile platforms. Formerly, in Australia leading business units and marketing communications divisions, start-up of a digital content and mobile marketing business unit and designing a strategic growth plan and launching brands in new markets internationally.
Mellisa was a pre-screening council member for The Smarties 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2015, 2014 and 2012, representative with MMA China 2012, a mobile industry representative on the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA) mobile marketing council, a contributor to mobile marketing industry self-regulatory code drafting, Chairperson of the ADMA Mobile Marketing & Advertising Awards 2008, and ADMA Mobile Marketing & Advertising Awards judge 2003-2007.
