Trong is currently the Country Commercial Head at Grab Vietnam. This position allows him to continue to offer his passion for exploring the power of tech and his dedication to leverage digitalisation to change consumer life for the better, which he brought to Grab over four years ago. Overseeing the marketing team in his first years at Grab, Trong was the architect of the recognised campaign “Never Miss A Meal”. Also, he has made great efforts to unlock the potential of food delivery in Vietnam with his leadership to launch GrabFood and driving its competitiveness in the local market. Prior to Grab, Trong had nine years of working experience at Unilever. Starting as the first Management Trainee from Vietnam joining Unilever Global Graduate Trainee Program in Singapore, he gained rounded experiences across SEAA markets through various roles from Trade Marketing to Business Unit Head.
