Jose Carlos is a communications strategist with 17+ years of experience in IT, Digital and social media. He has worked as a journalist for companies such as Prego TV Channel, RadioNet News (Radio broadcast), El Espectador (Newspaper), and for IT Market (a magazine for IT resellers). Today he is the Editor of Technology at EL TIEMPO, the most important newspaper and news portal of Colombia, developing content strategies for digital audiences and customers.
He also has experience in communications and marketing strategies and PR management. He used to work for Burson-Marsteller, a marcom agency (Young&Rubican), as a Senior Manager for the IT and Innovation unit in Colombia, leading communication and marketing strategies (traditional and digital) for the six most important ITC companies in Colombia (Intel, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Symantec, Sony Mobile and Motorola).
