Actress, comedian, and writer Gina Brillon was born and raised in Bronx, New York. She’s been a standup comic since she was 17 years old. Her first one hour special, ‘Pacifically Speaking, was produced by Gabriel Iglesias and debuted on NuvoTV this past fall. Gina has a featured role in Gabriel Iglesias’ theatrical film, The Fluffy Movie. She's made appearances on E!’s Chelsea Lately, AXS’ Gotham Comedy Live, The View, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Gina is the first Latina winner of NBC’s 2012 Stand up for Diversity Showcase. She is also a published writer and poet. Her pieces have appeared in the New York Post and Daily News among others.
Gina is currently developing scripted content for Broadway Video’s new digital studio Mas Mejor with Horatio Sanz, as well as a scripted network pitch based around her life and comedy with Universal Cable Productions, and she can be seen this coming summer headlining the Ethnic Show at the Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival 2016.
