Darshana Shah is the Head of Marketing & Digital at Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Limited (ABHICL). She has been a part of ABHICL, a joint venture (JV) between Aditya Birla Group and MMI Holdings of South Africa, since January 2016.
In her role as Head Marketing & Digital, she is driving the key agendas as a ‘Customer Custodian’ in areas of Product Marketing, Channel and Customer Experience Management, Contact Centre, Corporate Communications and Digital business mandate for the customer facing and distributor facing assets of ABHI including digital adoption.
Overall, Darshana has 21 plus years of rich experience in marketing, brand & communication. She started her career in 1996 in IT education sector and post that forayed in Retail for the last 15 years. Darshana is the recipient of prestigious ‘Aditya Birla Capital Awards 2018’ in the ‘Functional Excellence’ category and ‘Aditya Birla Group Award 2018’ in the ‘Exceptional Contributors’ category.
Prior to joining Aditya Birla Health Insurance, Darshana was with Hypercity Retail as Sr. Vice President - Marketing and Visual Merchandising. Prior to her stint with Hypercity Retail, Darshana has worked with organizations such as Reliance Retail, Future Group and Shoppers Stop.
Darshana has done her Bachelors in Science from Mithibai College and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from NMIMS and also Diploma in ‘Early Child Care’ education from Mumbai University. She has also done a Senior Leadership Executive Program(SELP) from Harvard Business School. Darshana loves beaches, and if not at work she is travelling to some new country as she has a long bucket list and loves meeting people from different cultures.
