Carl is currently Chief Marketing Officer at Outsurance, a global leader in short- and long-term insurance.
Prior to this Carl was the Group Sales and Marketing Director at Talksure SA, a successful Financial Services Provider and Outsource Call Centre operation.
Before joining Talksure, Carl spent 8 years at Telesure Investment Holdings (Auto & General Insurance, Budget Insurance, Dialdirect Insurance, First For Women Insurance) where Carl fulfilled the following roles:
• Chief Digital Officer
• Chief Marketing Officer
• Executive Head of Call Centre Sales
• Executive Head: Hippo.co.za Business Unit
A career highlight came when the Computer Society of South Africa recognized Carl, as “Visionary CIO 2009” for launching the first fully secure and transactional Mobile Banking service in South Africa.
Before joining the Telesure Group in 2010, Carl spent 11 years at Absa Group (part of Barclays PLC) heading up various Digital Channels and services including Online Banking, Customer facing websites, Mobile Banking and the Messaging Channel.
