February 24, 2011—E! Entertainment Television’s E! Live From the Red Carpet app for iPad and iPhone / iPod touch is available now on iTunes, enabling fans to enjoy an immersive E! experience throughout the red carpet season. Co-developed by the mobile division of Trailer Park Advanced Content (TPAC) and E! Entertainment’s digital media group, the app showcases top industry events like the Oscars and Golden Globes, as well as the celebrity, fashion and entertainment news E! Entertainment Television and E! Online are renowned for. Users can browse Red Carpet events and current headlines, as well as E! Online’s extensive archive of content.

TPAC President Curt Doty comments, “Working with one of the giants in mobilized entertainment is huge for us. E! Live From the Red Carpet is an app for people who love entertainment and Apple has featured it by including it in their list of Apps for Movie Lovers.”

The E! Live From the Red Carpet app makes extensive use of E! Online data feeds, integrates several third-party APIs, major red carpet event details, advanced video streaming technology and live video streams of the “Who’s Next” camera from the red carpet during the awards season. The app will continue to evolve and update to bring the best in immersive, dual-screen red carpet coverage to every device. It marks one of several projects between Trailer Park Advanced Content’s mobile division and E!.

“The E! Live From the Red Carpet app brings one of entertainment news’ most iconic brands to consumers on the go—beyond their desktops and living rooms,” says Rick Eiserman, CEO, Trailer Park. “Working with E! in mobile solidifies Trailer Park’s commitment to entertainment branding, technology and pushing creative excellence to all screens.
