Nghia oversees all brand activations for the adidas brand in Vietnam, and to a certain extent, Cambodia. He and his team are responsible for driving brand strategy, go-to-market execution across channels, brand equity and executing brand communication for ATL, BTL, PR, sports marketing, social media and digital. Nghia is currently the youngest member of adidas Vietnam Management Team.
Prior to adidas, Nghia headed the Knowledge division at GroupM, the media powerhouse' internal research unit. His team analyzed and developed consumer-centric media insights that help business leaders make the most optimal decisions for their brands. GroupM Knowledge operates as a central hub of relevant and cutting-edge breadth of views for the group, supporting more than 400 employees and servicing dozens of clients and partners.
Before GroupM, he kickstarted his career as a Creative Technologist at TBWA who bridged the gap between design and strategy with technology. During his tenure at TBWA, Nghia created, designed, and helped launch one of the country’s first mobile apps in 2012.
Nghia was born and raised in Vietnam, then studied and honed his skills in California. He is also an F&B entrepreneur and enthusiast who co-founded Modern Hustle, a local creative marketplace and event space based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Nghia is a triathlete and a marathon runner.
