Melanie is an awarded APAC executive who has worked in Director roles in Media, Marketing, Audience Intelligence & Data, Strategic Planning and Customer Operations in commercial radio, digital, television and Out-of-Home industries. Her expertise includes a deep working knowledge of media, brand-side and agency-side for multi-platform, multi-media marketing campaigns for the past two decades.

Melanie was appointed as the first APAC Managing Director for global independent OOH agency, Talon OOH, as part of their global expansion. She built a high-performance team and was trusted to invest and deliver high returns on her client’s multi-million dollar media budgets. This role followed from her leadership roles at world class AU/NZ media owners oOh! Media, and Clear Channel’s Adshel.

She is now a leading advisor to the media industry working with media owners, brands and agencies to deliver exceptional performance and elevated media experiences not only for media planning and buying but also operational effectiveness in an increasingly competitive industry.

Melanie keynotes and is a guest panellist regularly around the Asia Pacific region including World Out of Home Organisation’s Asia Pacific Congresses in Malaysia and Indonesia, The Marketing Society in Singapore and at the Outdoor Advertising Convention in Bangalore.

Melanie is a strong advocate for Advertising and Marketing and dedicates time as an Awards judge and marketing mentor. Her knowledge is also recognised by leading industry bodies including Chartered Institute of Marketing (Fellow) and AMI (Fellow & Certified Practising Marketer, CPM) and most recently the Advertising & Media Association in Singapore (AAMS) where she sat on the Outernet 2.0 panel for audience measurement standardization and contributes to industry research.

Melanie is a Harvard Business School Strategy graduate and holds a BA in Communications and Masters in Business (MBA).
