

Ruchira is the CMO leading Marketing and Innovation at Diageo India, and member of the Global Diageo Marketing Leadership Team.
She is responsible for driving brand equity and revenue growth across a portfolio of Indian and Global brands that span price points from entry level Value brands like McDowell’s and Royal Challenge all the way up to Luxury brands on Single Malts, Don Julio Tequila and global icon Johnnie Walker in the Indian sub-continent.
She has consistently created value with winning brand campaigns and activations and been led in market success for some of the most successful innovations/ brand renovations transforming the pace and impact of innovation for the business.
Ruchira is passionate about investing in talent, and is a co-founder at Ashoka University, a liberal arts and science University. She is a mentor at KARM foundatoin, and was invited to the CII National Committee on Women Empowerment & Indian Women Network (IWN), and The CII National Committee on Marketing leadership.
