As the Director of Innovation and Growth at 1-800-Flowers.com, Susan leads the development and go-to market strategy for emerging digital products and platforms across the company’s portfolio of brands.

Since joining 1-800-Flowers.com in 2017, Susan has accelerated the company’s position as an innovative e-commerce leader. She led the launch of emerging voice and conversational channels, including partnering closely with Apple in the launch of Apple Business Chat and with Google in the launch of Google Assistant and Rich Communication Services at Mobile World Congress. She has also partnered with emerging startups to enhance the overall gifting experience across the company’s core platforms, including web, mobile, and mobile apps.

Before joining 1-800-Flowers.com, Susan was a Business Associate at Techstars New York, where she advised start-ups on product development and marketing. Prior to pivoting her career to tech, Susan spent over 7 years in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and in private equity at Almanac Realty Investors.

Susan has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Honors and Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. She is also an active member of the startup community in both New York City and Silicon Valley.
