Ceren Gokoglu, Chief of Staff, AI & Innovation at Careem, was an Associate Partner at McKinsey Middle East with 10+years’ extensive experience advising top-tier, cross-sector, cross-regional clients in a range of areas, with particular expertise in digital transformation, and emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence. She led multiple tech-enabled transformation projects and innovation strategies in GCC, Europe, Asia as well as US.
As an entrepreneur at the heart, she developed multiple start-ups mostly focusing on food and agri-tech. The last one Foodiena: a food-tech company operating in MENA, acquired by another start-up in 2021. The AI-powered platform behind Foodiena was chosen as one of the most promising food-tech platforms in MENA. She is also supporting multiple start-ups as a mentor, and also as an investor and involved in multiple programs accelerating business innovation- she was one of the mentors for the United Nations Young SDG Innovators Program for 2021 batch, providing guidance and mentorship for young professionals from a wide range of sectors that participate in UN SDG Young Innovators program.
Ceren holds an MSc in Development Studies and Finance from London School of Economics, BSc in Economy and International Studies from Koc University, Istanbul.
