Ville Kulmala is an experienced (20+ years) technology and mobile executive with long exposure to digital agencies and mobile marketing campaigns in China and Asean region. Directly delivered projects at Nokia, Advocacy Shanghai, Nissan, Watsons, Philips, Accenture Management Consulting, LogicaCMG, KPN Telecom, ING Investment Management, Heineken International, Advocacy, ABN AMRO Global Markets and BNP Paribas.
Highlights include work during the first dot-com boom on projects delivered to Nokia's prototype mobile phones - the world's first enterprise mobile app with data driven analytics. Delivered a pioneer WOM platform for regional hospitality sector groups in the beginning of 2010s and supported various campaign delivery in Shanghai for multiple WOMMY winner.
He is currently heading growth for a global technology leader, Papyrus Software, to deliver omni-channel communication management solutions. Technology platform used globally and APAC wide as the omni-channel communication backbone of companies such as Dow Jones, Dexcom, BNP Paribas and Citi.
Ville is the Chairman of Mobile Monday Thailand, a large mobile industry community with an aim to connect Thai ecosystem to the region and vice versa.
Ville is lecturing currently in leading Asian universities about marketing, mobile technology and has contributed to Economist Intelligence Unit, Mobile Marketing Association and Forrester publications on mobile topics.
