A consumer marketing and digital expert, Rajiv Bakshi is the Vice President at Discovery Networks Asia Pacific where he performs a range of roles from Brand Marketing, Business Strategy, Product Development, Content and Digital. During this tenure at Discovery, he developed the entire portfolio of 11 Pay TV channels including Discovery Channel, TLC, Discovery Kids and TLC. An industry leader, he has created the “Lifestyle" and "HD" television categories in India and have been awarded "Marketing Professional of the Year." Prior to Discovery, he worked in world's leading consultancies and advised CEOs & CMOs on Marcom strategies, across FMCG, Media/Internet, Auto, Durables and Hospitality industries.
Rajiv is a guest speaker on Business Strategy & Brand Management at India's leading management institutes - MDI, Gurgaon and Indian School of Business (ISB). He is also an advisor to Private Equity firm and mentors a OTT/Digital Company. Besides media, he has passion in education and conducts life coaching classes at a non profit organisation.
