David Lowes is the Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung Electronics Europe. David joined the team in January 2016, following a career in sales and marketing in the food and beverage industry.
As Chief Marketing Officer, David directs Samsung’s marketing communications, shaping strategic direction and guiding the deployment of all marketing channels. David’s responsibilities include Samsung’s advertising, PR, media, brand, digital, retail and consumer market insights.
Prior to joining Samsung, David was a Senior Vice President and member of the Global Category Leadership Team at Unilever, where he led the brand development work for global brands such as Hellmann’s Dressings. David has worked in a variety of senior marketing roles and geographies, performing local, regional and global roles for some of the world’s biggest food and beverage brands.
David holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from The University of Leicester.
