RSA Group CMO Peter Markey to Keynote MMA Forum London
- FTSE 100 marketer discusses future of marketing and impact of mobile - 
 
London, 28 September 2011, – The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) today announced that Peter Markey, Board Member of The Marketing Society and Chief Marketing Officer of RSA Group (previously Royal Sun Alliance), will be the opening keynote of the MMA Forum London on the 4th October 2011. Mr. Markey will discuss the future of marketing and how mobile has empowered an irrevocable change in consumer behaviour worldwide. The keynote is the first element of a joint leadership programme between the MMA and The Marketing Society to raise the ability of senior marketers to include mobile in their strategy for 2012. The Marketing Society will be the MMA Forum’s exclusive ‘marketing leadership partner’.
 
As a member of The Marketing Society’s Management Board, a member of ISBA’s Executive Committee and CMO of the RSA Group, a global insurance business with over 20 million customers worldwide, Mr. Markey is one of the UK’s leading marketers. Responsible for all UK marketing across the RSA and MORE TH>N brands, he also shares marketing best practice globally across the RSA Group. His role extends to brand, acquisition, customer and digital marketing, adding to previous experience gained in sales, e-business, operations and strategy at companies such as Onetel, the AA and British Gas.
