On October 7, 2013 David Gunzerath and George Ivie of MRC, Joe Laszlo of IAB and Leo Scullin of MMA jointly hosted a webinar on the details of the recently released “Mobile Application Advertising Measurement Guidelines”. This webinar will be available on both the MMA and IAB web sites.
David Gunzerath noted that the In App Guidelines focus on a number of elements that are unique to the app environment, and that the principle of Client Side Counting holds here as it does in all web matters as well. Any app developer, and any media buyer or seller of ads within apps, should become familiar and compliant with this guidance as soon as possible. This webinar is available for review below.
