Having worked in the industry both in the UK and India since 2002, he has deep hands on experience on how to make the mobile channel work for organisations. An industry pioneer, he was an integral part of the team that launched the ground-breaking Orange Wednesdays 2-4-1 cinema ticket mobile coupon project in the UK. Now running for over 10 years, it is acknowledged as one of the most successful mobile marketing projects to date.

He is the Managing Director and Founder of TechMobia, a specialist in mobile-first marketing technology solutions that target the rural market. The company builds innovative mobile centric technology solutions to help organisations of all sizes execute strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, mobilise business processes and enhance customer relationships.

He is also a non-executive Director of Next MediaWorks Limited, which through its joint venture with BBC Worldwide Holdings B.V. operates the premium “Radio One” FM radio station which broadcasts across 7 cities in India.

He is ex. a Governing Council member of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and an early stage contributor to the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) both in the UK & India

In his earlier professional career he worked in a number of diverse business roles at large blue-chip corporations including Credit Suisse in Hong Kong, British Airways in the UK and Shell International in the Netherlands

He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University and is a qualified Management Accountant
