Mellisa has over 25-years’ experience in business and marketing management in corporations, media companies, agency and not-for-profit. Most recently interim executive management in the subscription TV and SVOD sector and Executive Director for a private university following 7-years in Asia managing marketing communications for a new hotel brand, the global media advertising agency business for a global airline, managing global client relationships and business development for an agency in China and establishing a marketing and sales division for a media company in China producing brand content solutions across television, digital and mobile platforms. Formerly in Australia for market leading media company managing business units in mobile marketing, consumer product brand licensing and international magazine licensing following 12-years marketing communications at Twentieth Century Fox Film Distributors.

Mellisa was a pre-screening council member for The Smarties 2017, 2015, 2014 and 2012, representative with MMA China 2012, a mobile industry representative on the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA) mobile marketing council, a contributor to industry self-regulatory code drafting, Chairperson of the ADMA Mobile Marketing & Advertising Awards 2008 and ADMA Mobile Marketing & Advertising Awards judge 2003-2007.
