Dear Readers,
Welcome to the March 2007 edition of the MMA’s Mobile Marketing Messenger.
Like
all in the industry, it has been a busy month for the MMA. New
developments in mobile advertising, mobile video and television, and
other content services, have created a large opportunity for MMA
members as our industry continues to grow. Global has also been a
large focus for us in early 2007 with new chapters launched in APAC and
EMEA. Next month we will feature additional information from each
of these chapter launches.
Spring is one of our busiest trade show seasons – and as such, we would like to highlight two upcoming MMA events:
- 2007 Mobile Marketing Forum, to be
held June 6 & 7 in New York City. Registration is already
open and just like 2006, this program is slated to be a sold out
event. Get on board today by visiting www.mobilemarketingforum.com.
- For the 2nd year in a row, the MMA is teaming up with
Billboard to host the MMA Mobile Entertainment Live Bash, Presented by
AOL. Join the MMA at CTIA on Monday, March 26th from
6:30pm-9:00pm at The Groove at Universal City Walk, for this must
attend event. The Bash is open to all attendees of Mobile
Entertainment Live event as well as all MMA Members. For more
information on this event, please visit the Events Calendar on www.mmaglobal.com. RSVP is not required.
See you soon!
Regards,

Finding Mobile Success By Dan Flanegan, President, Soapbox Mobile As
someone who has been in the mobile marketing space for the past four
years and has launched and managed multiple campaigns I am continuously
asked "What do you consider a successful campaign?". In most
cases the individual or company posing the question is looking for some
hard number, a response rate, a number of sent messages or registered
users. These can all be important metrics, however, success
presents itself in the least expected and most interesting of ways. To read more, please click HERE.
