Vijay oversees Unruly’s business in ASEAN & India, managing its expansion & growth in the region.  

With over 20 years’ experience working with leading print, broadcast, VoD & digital companies holding various roles both in India and ASEAN has allowed Vijay to build expertise in the areas of Audience Engagement, Content and Business Creation. He spearheaded India’s first web based ad funded audio content streaming in 2010 working with leading brands like Airtel & Sony Ericsson.

In last few years, he has helped American & European ad tech companies to make foray & managed their strategic investment in the Asian market & developed their regional footprint.  Vijay is currently a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB ) Measurement & Standards Committee in Singapore & has also served as member on IAB’s Content & Video committees.  He has spoken at many events around the APAC region including, iMedia, Marketing Interactive & ad:tech as well as conducted content workshops for global brands like Nestle, J&J, Friesland Campina, Coca Cola, Jollibee, Pizza Hut and L’Oreal.

Vijay is the recipient of GroupM Singapore Media Person of the Year 2016 award and has won many internal awards and client’s appreciation for his work. During the last 3 years at Unruly, he & his team’s work was some of the most awarded in Singapore, winning 5 awards, most recently leading Unruly to Best Engagement Media for the second year running at Group M awards and Winning Gold & Silver for Best Media Solution-Online Video & Best campaign by Media Owner respectively for Prudential #RelationshipReconnect campaign at Marketing Sparks Awards for Media Excellence 2016.

Outside of work, Vijay enjoys spending time with his family & friends and balance his other obsessions such as music, reading, sports & wanderlust.
