Tom has been involved with Internet marketing activities since their inception. He has held various roles in digital marketing, leadership, and business development.

At Walmart, Tom leads digital marketing programs that include social media, search, mobile, and e-mail for U.S stores. Driving innovation using interactive marketing tools to provide real-time and relevant messaging ensures delivery of the right message, to the right person at the right time. While doing this, Walmart engages at scale across all social channels providing an "always there" approach for our customers. This scale includes 35 million Facebook National fans and 4,000+ local store Facebook pages, millions of digital video views, rich content on Pinterest and Instagram, responses to millions of annual customer comments, and more.

Prior to Walmart, Tom led corporate digital marketing efforts for Kodak including social channels and Kodak.com and digital activation of high profile events such as: Olympic Games (Sydney, Salt Lake, Athens, Torino, and Beijing), Walt Disney World, Epcot and Magic Kingdom, Celebrity Apprentice, Oscars Red Carpet, Mission Impossible:2 Premiere, PGA and LPGA tournaments, World Series at Yankee Stadium, America’s Millennium Celebration, 24 Hours in Cyberspace, Woodstock , American Society of Cinematographers, Lilith Fair, and Hollywood Producer’s Caucus. He has been a visiting lecturer on digital marketing at, Cornell, University of Rochester, Syracuse University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Brigham Young University, University of Arkansas, and American University.

He is the past chair, Conference Board's Digital Strategy Council and former board member of the George Eastman House/Internationl Museum of Film and Photography.
