Sonali joined Procter & Gamble India in 1998, directly out of business school. She joined in Marketing and has worked in regions which include ASEAN/India/Australia. A graduate from Lady Shriram College, with a B.Com (Hons) in Business Studies, Sonali then went on to complete her MBA in marketing from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Sonali is the Brand Director of Procter & Gamble, India (P & G). This involves leadership of Brand function for P & G, as well as ownership of the Brand operations across all brands in P & G India.

She has been rated as Number 7 in the IMPACT 50 most influential women in Marketing and Advertising for last two years.

She has been awarded as 'Marketer of the Year FMCG' by IAA awards in 2014.

She is the member of the Governing Council of ISA (Indian Society of Advertisers.)

She is also the Member of the BARC committee on Digital measurement.
