A 25-year veteran of advertising and marketing, Burke has represented some the largest companies in the U.S. As marketing director for Left Field Advertising in the 1990s, he helped major retailers like Macy's set up their first e-commerce sites. In 1999, he co-founded Tonic 360, an independent ad agency that had Amazon.com and Sun Microsystems as clients before it was purchased by JWT Company in 2000, where Burke served as president before going to work for Visa in 2005. Since arriving at Visa, he's headed marketing for its "Life Takes Visa" initiative and its "Go World" campaign for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
