Jim has spent more than 17 years international experience as an independent consultant delivering thought leadership, transformational change and business innovations supporting the development of digital media channels.   

This has included delivering strategic initiatives for commercial development and application of mobile within brands, their ad agencies, and media companies.  Clients have included WPP group, Aegis, OMD, Havas and M+C Saatchi.  Additionally, he has made an accountable contribution in thought leadership and innovation with the likes of Ericsson, Logica, Capgemini, Boston consulting Group and Atos Origin.

Global Business Development Director for Consumer Insight 365.  This is a business defined and created by Jim for the monetisation of mobile network data. He has been responsible for incubating the business case, leading the service build out and go to market strategy resulting in the initial launch of a new managed service business solution.

  • Lead role in transformational digital strategy and data driven consumer marketing initiatives for major global brands such as Argos, Coke, British Airways, Nascar, P&G 
  • Vodafone Group: Lead role global strategy for delivering robust business models for mobile advertising, marketing and mobile as a media channel,
    • Lead strategic role in the creation of pre-pay a methodology to significantly speed up consumer mobile adoption and subscriber acquisition 
  • Orange:  Lead market positioning during early launch of as the third mobile operating company in the UK
  • Endemol:  Conceived the concept, trail and commercial development of TV text voting Commercially developed the concept through it’s use on Big Brother UK it brought the wider viewing audience into direct contact with broadcast programming
  • BskyB:  Lead broadcasting content acquisition and advertising formatting
  • Lead consumer adoption strategy for first pan European consumer/brand facing internet service provider 
  • Capgemini and Boston Consulting Group:  Formed Media, Entertainment and telecoms departments
  • Over 15 years in the Advertising and Marketing sectors holding C-level positions as Creative Group Head, Creative Director and Business Development Director within a number of major advertising agencies including Ogilvy’s, Saatchi’s, McCann’s and JWT.
