Hermann iniciou na GM em 1997, desde então atuou por diversas áreas, entre elas: Marketing, Vendas e Forecast. Além de ter atuado na área de Comunicação nos Estados Unidos, em 2014 assumiu a posição de Presidente da GM Chile e Peru, onde conduziu consistentemente melhorias no cenário comercial da operação. Hermann é graduado em Engenharia Mecânica no Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia e cursou MBA no Instituto de Tecnologia de Nova Iorque.

Hermann is Marketing Director for General Motors Mercosul. He has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia and MBA from New York Institute of Technology. He has held numerous positions during his 20 years with the company. In addition to having worked in Communication area in the GM NA. As President of GM Chile and Peru, Hermann led to improvements in the commercial and strategies of the operation. Hermann is married and they have three children.
