Mobile Marketing Association Announces Mobile Marketing Forum In Turkiye

Fall conference to reach European, Middle East and African (EMEA) audience

BOULDER, CO, Sept. 28, 2006 — The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) (www.mmaglobal.com) today announced that it will host a Mobile Marketing Forum (MMF) in the EMEA region on October 10, 2006 in Istanbul, Turkiye. Immediately following the MMF on October 11, 2006, the MMA will host its regional Annual General Meeting for members of the global organization.

This year’s MMF event is geared toward addressing the uptake, unique usage, business case, marketing successes and lessons learned when using the mobile channel. This one day event will consist of executives from brands, carriers, developers, ad agencies and more.

“The use of marketing via the mobile channel has expanded significantly throughout 2006 with some of the world’s largest brands, agencies and carriers looking to it as a mainstay in their marketing expenditures moving forward,” said Laura Marriott, executive director. “We look forward to hearing and learning from regional experts during the Fall EMEA MMF about their experiences, upcoming campaigns and general guidelines to executing a mobile marketing campaign.”

Attendees of the MMA EMEA MMF will gain a wealth of information in one day that would otherwise take weeks to months to gather and learn. The keynote speaker is Yusuf Azoz, Head of Content Services and Partnering, VAS Management unit at Turkcell. Other speakers include representatives from mobile marketing companies in Europe, North America and the Middle Eastern region.
