JOB DESCRIPTION:



Want to define the new world of entertainment, by drive the future way of creating and content and applications, consuming music, video/TV, and games? The Entertainment and Communities service line will capitalize on consumers’ desire for mobile entertainment and need to connect with other people to discover, explore and share media. By fulfilling these desires and needs, the Entertainment and Communities service line will create new revenue streams for Nokia. We are recruiting key management positions in the Content & SW Aggregation unit of Entertainment and Communities. Content and SW Aggregation includes distribution of branded content, applications and local services using platforms such as Download!/Nokia Content Discoverer, SW Markets and Channels. This team will develop and manage partnerships with Internet, SW, and media companies to leverage Nokia's scale and maximize revenues. Regional Content Aggregation for Europe is responsible for leading a team of highly skilled individuals to build the overall profitability and success of the Content & Software Aggregation service offerings. Main responsibilities and key tasks: Establish/increase revenue generation through channels with relevant content offering. Manage, negotiate, and secure content with local aggregators, partners, and media for services in the region. Develop and execute regional strategy. Lead, hire, and develop a senior team to execute against objectives. Work with Markets and Devices to execute local marketing, sales bundles, and device support for service. Ensure the quality of service with product and technical support. Manage budget to ensure profitability. Member of the Management Team contributing to the overall direction and success of the business. Designs and/or develops original programs, projects, content for functional subject areas. Authorized to take decisions within responsibility area. Translates strategy into actionable programs, operations or activities. Authorized to take decisions within responsibility area. Involved with and responsible for integrating or coordination with other businesses or functions. May include geographic coordination of functions or global functional/unit. Impact can be short to long term and influences business unit results and/or customer relationships. Accountable for setting function/program goals, managing cost performance and ensuring achievement through people and processes. Decisions and actions will normally impact business, program, project, function.


QUALIFICATIONS:



Individual Portfolio University degree, MBA preferred. 10+ years building and managing a service with industry experience in the mobile content business. Worked with partners and has extensive experience in Business Development. Experience in recruiting, developing and leading senior teams; demonstrates True Nokia Leader competencies. Good communication and collaboration skills. Able to work in a highly matrix environment. Able to define strategy and manage execution and achieve results. Posses an open mind and passion for innovation. Environment High degree of independence within a fast paced environment. Problem solving generally requires research and creative thought. Solutions cannot always be checked and proved, but generally predicted. Develops and applies new, innovative approaches to complex or infrequently occurring problems. Formulates operational guidelines. Ensures immediate working environment encourages innovation.
