JOB DESCRIPTION:



We are recruiting key management positions in the Content & SW Aggregation unit of Entertainment and Communities. Content and SW Aggregation includes distribution of branded content, applications and local services using platforms such as Download!/Nokia Content Discoverer, SW Markets and Channels. This team will develop and manage partnerships with Internet, SW, and media companies to leverage Nokia's scale and maximize revenues. Business Operations Management will develop the business plan and strategies, support revenue management, drive planning and manage team processes to improve overall efficiencies and success of the unit. Main Responsibility Area Responsible for supporting business results specifically through making recommendations on strategic scenarios and overall strategy. Leads preparation of business plans and participates in management decision to proceed/not proceed. Work with regions to establish and manage guidelines for account management, reporting, operations, and planning. Manages global operations including STP and LRP planning. Works with Finance on budget management. Assess and drive improvements in operations and programs. Provides reporting, tools, training, and other initiates for continuous improvement of the business. Key Tasks • Business planning and management • Performance metrics, reporting and analysis. • Management processes - strategy, budgeting, and STP planning. • Operational processes and tools • Competitor analysis & benchmarking • Establish and manage guidelines for business management - contract templates, account management practices, and business reviews. • Member of the Management Team contributing to the overall direction and success of the business. Designs and/or develops original programs, projects, content for functional subject areas. Authorized to take decisions within responsibility area. Translates strategy into actionable programs, operations or activities. Authorized to make decisions within responsibility area. Involved with and responsible for integrating or coordination with other businesses or functions. May include geographic coordination of functions or global functional/unit. Impact can be short to long term and influences business unit results and/or customer relationships. Accountable for setting function/program goals, managing cost performance and ensuring achievement through people and processes. Decisions and actions will normally impact business, program, project, function.


QUALIFICATIONS:



Services & Software, Strategy & Business Development, & F&C. Typically 10+ years experience in busienss operations and/or strategy and business case, and reporting analysis required. High level of business acumen required Strong analytical skills required. Experience in services and software businesses and knowledge of Nokia systems and processes. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Environment Highly independent and self directed. Fast paced environment and needs to be able to handle multpile tasks. Develops plans, measures effectiveness. Assesses customer relationships and service levels. Can develop and implement complex and innovative concepts. Problems require searching and selecting. Anticipates problems, seeks opportunities. Models creative and innovative work methods. High collegial interaction.
