Mobile Marketing Association: Product Marketing Manager

Position Purpose
 
The primary function of this position is to devise strategies and products that aide MMA’s support of the growing mobile marketing industry. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and productizing the MMA’s mobile advertising measurement strategy and overall research and metrics initiatives by working closely with MMA members, staff, and vendors. 
 
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
Product Marketing:
-Conceiving of and evaluating new research opportunities
-Productizing MMA key deliverables for resale
-Identifying new revenue streams and opportunities for MMA world wide
-Managing key association partnerships relative to measurement
 
Market Research:
-Writing summaries, RFP’s, strategic briefs, white papers, etc.
-Management of research vendor/partner relationships
-Securing research for the monthly newsletter
-Lead the measurement initiatives on behalf of the MMA
-Development and tracking of key industry statistics
 
 
Skills and Competency Requirements
Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to take own initiative. Strong planning and management skills; excellent PC skills; and an ability to work across organizations
 
 
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required, MBA preferred
- Candidate should have demonstrable success in developing and executing strategy
- Previous experience in the mobile industry and/or media agency experience
-  Experience scoping and managing research projects
 
Travel or Other Requirements - Extended or non-traditional work hours may sometimes be required.
