The MMA chooses a select group of marketing and mobile experts to make up the Advisory Board for each MMA Forum globally. The Advisory Board will work with the MMA and regional Managing Director to provide ideas and feedback during the program planning process.

Juan Adlercreutz
Interactive Marketing Director, Asia Pacific
The Coca-Cola Company

Juan Adlercreutz is the Interactive Marketing Director for the Coca-Cola Company in the Pacific Group. In this role, Juan collaborates with brands and integrated marketing communication teams within the region to ensure that interactive experiences are innovative as well as consistent and connected across the region.

Before he was appointed into this role, he served as the Interactive Marketing Director for The Coca-Cola Company in Latin America. He was the architect of the project launching online radio stations in different countries of Latin America as well as, the online TV channel for the same region. He also helped Coca-Cola to unify web, social and mobile presence for a more efficient operation and a better experience for consumers.

Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, Adlercreutz worked for Televisa Group in Mexico City where he helped their publishing house Televisa Publishing enter the digital space by taking their magazine brands and content online. In his former role at Televisa Publishing as Marketing Director for their magazine portfolio, he led the marketing, communication and promotion strategy for more than 100 magazines including National Geographic, Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Seventeen, Marie Claire, OK! and Esquire among others.

Previously, Adlercreutz was responsible for customers, new business development and digital for WPP´s Thompson Connect in Mexico City. Before joining Thompson, he launched WPP’s Collectivemind Technology and Design interactive agency operations in Miami, helping their Latin American and US Hispanic clients join the nascent digital world.

His professional life started in the telecommunications business at Movicom Bellsouth in his native Buenos Aires. There, overseeing Total Quality Management, he participated in many reengineering and transformational processes to help the company adapt to the fast moving times of the mobile industry back in the 90’s.

Adlercreutz has served as a board member of the Mobile Marketing Association since 2009 and was appointed Chairman of the Latin American board in early 2012.

Leah Camilla R. Besa-Jimenez

Leah Besa-Jimenez is the Group Head – Digital Media of Smart Communications, Inc.

Prior roles were as Managing Director of NetBooster Asia (now called Movent, a GroupM company), the largest fully integrated digital agency in the Philippines, General Manager of Proximity Philippines, Head of CRM for Globe Telecom and at Ogilvy & Mather, concurrently held three posts - Business Development Director for Ogilvy & Mather, Business Director for OgilvyOne and OgilvyHealthcare.

Leah has more than 18 years of experience in Marketing, CRM and Digital. Consulting for global brands covering the following industries and verticals: FMCG, Technology, Telecommunications Finance and Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals.

Breadth of work involves Strategic Brand Planning, Through-the-line Communications, Digital Marketing, Customer Relationship Marketing focusing on Loyalty & Retention, Data Analytics and Datawarehousing.

She is a regular speaker on CRM and Digital, locally and regionally. Leah is in the following Industry Boards: MMA (Mobile Marketing Association) APAC Board, IMMAP (Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines) and I-COM Programme Board.

Joseph Lumban Gaol

Awarded as The Most Promising Entrepreneur in 2009 by Asia Pacific Entrepreneurs Award (APEA), Joseph and his partner have established the now 12 years m-STARS Group focusing on the convergent Mobile and Internet Technology. As a CEO of m-STARS, he and his team have grown m-STARS from a mobile banking service provider into prominent 4 business units that creates a full cycle solution for Digital Ecosystem. Each business units addresses different industries whom all convergent to mobile and internet: Banking and Finance (VOX), Retail and Distribution (VOX), Media & Entertainment (pop and dr.M), and last but not least Advertising Industry (adstars).

Graduated from Computer Science Department of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), he started his career in General Electric, and later in XL (now XL Axiata) where he found his passion for entrepreneurship in mobile and Internet technology.

Aside from his passion in m-STARS group, Joseph is actively evangelizing the development of mobile as a 7th mass media by co-chairing MMA Indonesia. He is also very passionate in social enterprise through a movement of micro entrepreneurship development for Indonesian rural through the utilization of mobile and internet technology, speaking in various local seminars and as well as lecture in academic institutions.

Vikas Gulati
Vice President, SE Asia

Vikas spearheads business development at Vserv for South East Asia. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for driving key aspects of business – Developers, Publishers and Advertisers.

He has over 14 years of experience in media and marketing across emerging markets. Prior to Vserv, he was involved with set up of Asia business for Sprice - a leading Online Travel network, now part of Travelport. He has also held various leadership roles at ZenithOptimedia and has led top accounts such as Procter & Gamble, Asia Pacific Breweries, LVMH, ESPN and LG.

Vikas is a post-graduate from Times School of Marketing, an industry thought leader in Digital Advertising and also writes for ClickZasia.

Hisham Isa

Hisham’s key focus is the global marketing campaigns of the BuzzCity brand and services. Hisham has a deep understanding of the impact of digital media and online marketing on consumers and businesses, and has used this knowledge in his role to manage international campaigns for BuzzCity.

Joshua Maa is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Madhouse Inc., the leading Mobile Ad platform with steady growth both in China and India.

Joshua Maa is the Founding Member and Board Director of MMA APAC (Mobile Marketing Association, Asia Pacific Region). He is also the Co-founder and Board Member of MMA China, and the Head of Mobile Advertising Guideline Committee.

Before founding Madhouse, Joshua Maa was EVP at TOM Online, where he managed the Wireless Business & Operations and International Business Development teams, and helped Tom become the largest Wireless Value-Added Service Provider by revenue in China in 2005.

Before TOM Online, Joshua was the Founding CEO of Rock Mobile Corporation, Greater China's leading Mobile Music Entertainment Service Provider.

Joshua has over 20 years of managerial experience in Greater China’s New Media, entertainment, and Consumer Marketing industries.


Sushobhan Mukherjee

Sushobhan Mukherjee is highly awarded strategist with two decades of experience in marketing, ranging from marketing research to brand management to digital. He has worked across agency and client lines, principally with Publicis, JWT, R/GA, SapientNitro and Discovery Channel. He has lived and worked in India, USA and Singapore. 

Formerly VP & Regional Strategy Lead for SapientNitro in APAC, Sushobhan is the co-founder of Narrative Technology, a Singapore based business advisory, which helps businesses catalyse growth through customer experience, product innovation and digital marketing. 

Sushobhan has served on the advisory board of the Mobile Marketing Association, judged at The Effies and the Festival of Media. He gives back as a mentor at The Hub Singapore and as an advisor to The Taskshashila Foundation. 

Sandra Ng

Sandra Ng has been in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) advisory and consulting industry for 20 years. While her technology research expertise is vast and diverse, she is best known in the industry for her Telecommunications knowledge and opinions within the Asia Pacific region. Her ability to discuss broad, strategic and converged issues across the ICT industry enables her to engage with many C-level management teams and technology executives in Asia.

In her current role as the Head of the Practice Group at IDC Asia/Pacific, Sandra leads a team of IDC's senior analysts with collective expertise across the entire ICT industry. She is often invited to present IDC's opinions on CNBC Asia, Bloomberg and Channel News Asia. Sandra is also a regular keynote speaker at global and regional ICT conferences.

To let Vietnam catch up with the global expansion of Mobile Marketing, Ms. Thanh joined MMA as a premier member and built the first MMA Chapter in Vietnam.
