
Cannes Lions, the premier international advertising festival in Cannes, France takes place from June 17-23, 2012. MMA will be joining Cannes in making 2012 the year of mobile. For the first time this year, the Cannes Lions Festival will include Mobile Marketing as a distinct and separate category.
In keeping with the “Festival” theme of Cannes and in a way that rises above the noise already a part of the week, MMA has created a program called: The Mobile Circus Comes to Town. The program will be a balanced combination of entertainment and innovative and creative ways to showcase and draw attention to the power of Mobile Marketing.
Cannes organizers have told us that “it is the most exciting program they think they have heard of at Cannes” and are working with us to ensure integration throughout the Festival for the highest level of visibility and exposure for the program.
We invite our members to join us and participate - whether visiting with us in the Big Top, riding in the Petit Train and climbing aboard as a sponsor. Here's what it means to bring the Mobile Circus to Town:

The Cannes Petit Train will be transformed into MMA's Mobile Industry Train. Hop on and off to get to where you need to go. The train will be the official mode of transportation taking delegates to the key stops throughout the festival including: Mobile Day, the Mobile Awards, the parties, beaches and of course the Mobile Smart Big Top.
