Michael Becker is the North American Managing Director of the Mobile Marketing Association, where he is responsible for overseeing the association’s North American membership, research, strategic initiatives, events and education businesses. He also holds the position of Founder and Strategic Advisor to iLoop Mobile, Inc., an industry leading mobile marketing solutions provider. In addition to his commercial activities, Mr. Becker is an author and academic. He is the founder and publisher of the MMA International Journal of Mobile Marketing, has authored two books (Mobile Marketing for Dummies and Web Marketing All-in-One for Dummies), written over more than 80 articles and contributed to 5 five other books. He also is frequently quoted by the press for his expertise including the WSJ, NY Times, RCR, AdWeek and hundreds more. In addition, Mr. Becker is an adjunct professor of Mobile Marketing at Golden Gate University (GGU) and is pursuing his doctorate, with a focus on next generation consumer information ownership business models, at GGU.
