A passionate and strategic mobile marketing leader, Adam Gold has helped provide marketers with smart and effective tools that drive business success. Adam has worked with senior level marketers in bringing mobile marketing expertise and consulting services to top brands and retailers. He is proficient in a variety of sales and marketing roles including; mobile media and marketing, sales management, and trade marketing. Adam is a mobile evangelist and believer in a “mobile first” philosophy as a means to achieving and exceeding business goals.

As VP of North American Sales for Scanbuy, Inc., Adam led a team dedicated to bringing mobile engagement services to fortune 500 brands. He successfully built and managed the sales organization from zero revenue to partnering with 25 of the top Fortune 100 global brands. He helped define the go to market strategy and business model, pivoting from a campaign based offering to a SaaS licensing model with monthly recurring revenues.

Prior to joining Scanbuy, Mr. Gold was President of Apogee Consulting where he helped launch the first ever “Mobile Upfront” for the advertising community. Here he helped secure major sponsors and participated in the development of conference content.

Previously, Gold spent five years with the Advertising Age Group as a General Manager overseeing the P&L for online, print and conferences within the creative category. He managed all top line revenue to gains of over 100% and increased bottom line contributions by nearly 500%. He was also responsible for managing many C level agency relationships and played a major role in Advertising Age’s relationship with the annual Advertising Week convention.

Before joining Advertising Age, Gold spent the preceding 12 years as a multimedia sales director and ultimately Publisher, leading businesses for Miller Freeman, Inc. and Nielsen Business Media.

Mr. Gold is a member of the Advertising Club of New York as well as the Mobile Marketing Association. He lives with his wife and two sons in Westchester, NY.
